Thirsty for GRFC news or a collector of football programmes?
15th July 2008 Gresley Rovers is producing a new look match day programme for season 2008/09 and is looking to make is as widely available as possible. We know from this website that there are plenty of fans living outside the area whilst other people like to collect non-league programmes. Anyone who has ever been involved in producing a programme (or similar publication) will know how much work there is involved and it's a shame if the programme isn't widely available. We are therefore wanting to know if there would be any interest if we offered a mailing service to fans unable to get to the Moat Ground? The cost will depend on the number of people interested but the programme itself will be £1.50 for the 2008/09 season and p & p would be in addition. There will be ninteen league programme plus further editions for cup matches. It will be a new look programme that will include new features and give-aways. There will be the regular news and reviews and throughout the season - Barry Woolley has agreed to contribute, the rest of the players will be more involved, there will be more news on other Gresley teams as well as competitions and vouchers. The reason for this posting now is that we can adjust the number of copies produced because if people would like a mail order service extras will need to be printed to ensure there is more than enough for sale on match days. We are very reluctant to make the entire programme available on line as this would adversely affect sales of the hard copy.
